WHY CHOOSE CHIROPRACTIC
What is it?
Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession that deals with the analysis, treatment and prevention of imbalances in the neuro-musculoskeletal system and the effects that such imbalances can have on the general health of the individual.

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines the general health of the individual as "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not the mere absence of disease". Chiropractic respects this notion with a holistic approach to patient care.
Although the main component of chiropractic treatment is the manual identification and adjustment of bio-mechanical dysfunctions of the spine and peripheral system (causes) and their effects on the nervous system and the body in general (symptoms), chiropractic intervention also evaluates the impact of the patient's psychosocial state. In addition, chiropractic promotes patient education in maintaining correct posture, healthy nutrition and functional training.

The title of Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), is obtained following a rigorous university course (currently not existing in Italy) of at least five years full-time and with compulsory attendance at a college or university recognized by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE). With over 5000 hours of theoretical and practical training, the Doctor of Chiropractic title guarantees competence and professionalism.

In Italy, the Italian Chiropractors Association brings together exclusively Doctor Chiropractors who have graduated from a recognized college or university by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) in the protection of the patient and the entire profession, countering the widespread phenomenon of unauthorized activity (for more information chiropratica.it ).
